Core Decay is one of those incredible looking retro-inspired shooters we covered recently, and it's now listed on Steam for you to go give it a wishlist.

"The year is 2089. For decades past, the availability of natural resources has declined to the point of societal collapse. Nations are governed by corporations, and the planet is on the brink of an ecological collapse that will leave nothing left alive."

With some really sweet visuals, that definitely appear retro but you can tell there's a ton of modern touches. Core Decay is one you're going to need to keep an eye on. You play as some sort of "anomaly", more machine now than human with little memory of your past. Core Decay seems a little different though, as shooting first and questions later is not the only approach.

The developer explained that unlike other shooters, it's not entirely linear. Maps are huge complex levels, that provide many paths and ways to complete objectives. Alternate paths around enemies can be possible, you might not even need to fire a bullet in some sections.

So now it's on Steam you can wishlist/follow along.
