Cloudbuilt is an extremely fancy looking 3D platformer with awesome cel-shaded graphics. The developers have noted the Linux interest and it can help bring it to Linux.

I absolutely love the visuals in this game, they are just beautiful don't you think? The game was only released this year, but if they do port it then it sounds like there's a bit of work involved in it.

Here's two quotes from the developers:
QuoteThanks for posting, and if you got friends that might be interested in a Linux version as well, please let us know/tell them to post here as well : ) It helps a lot to estimate potential interest!

QuoteThis really gained some momentum quickly! Where are you all coming from? xD

No, but seriously, thanks for letting us know! Nice to see such a response! :)

A Linux port will require us to rewrite most of the file I/O, as well as getting a Linux build of the PhysX version we are using, and we would need to look over some sound engine stuff as well as some other smaller details. All that is possible, and we would love to do it, but we have limited time to work with and a lot of things we want/need to do.

A thread like this one can really help to make the difference when we are to decide what to do a little further down the line. The more interest we see from you guys, the more likely it becomes!

Thanks again!

Go tell them how much a Linux version means to you on their Steam forum post.
