Looking for your next adventure? Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition just got even bigger with a new "premium module" DLC Tyrants of the Moonsea now available.

For this new expansion, Beamdog teamed up with Ossian Studios. For those unfamiliar, Ossian Studios was formed in 2003 to work on new role-playing games with previous releases including Darkness over Daggerford and Mysteries of Westgate.

Tyrants of the Moonsea is based on a previously cancelled expansion from Luke Scull, with the Enhanced Edition release boasting "70% more story and gameplay, as well as a large amount of new art and audio content".

Feature Highlight:

  • An expansion-sized high-level adventure with 20+ hours of gameplay
  • Use the world map to explore 18 areas in the Moonsea region including Zhentil Keep, Cormanthor, Thar, and prominent city-states.
  • Recruit from 5 different companions for your party
  • 5 new monsters to do battle with
  • 14 new character portraits
  • 35 minutes of inspiring new music including exhilarating combat tracks
  • 1,000 lines of new character VO

Currently Tyrants of the Moonsea seems to only be on Steam.

As for the base game, it's on GOG and Steam.

And I finally get it now.
Wondered why a parent would cuddle up with liquor, but I get the implicit pun now :P

On the note of alcohol, I was trying to figure out why it is occasionally that my blood sugars are at the correct level, other times they're too high (and eating salads and such, I'm diabetic). But then I found after drinking a margarita that it is at a proper level. So I started trying to control it with a bit of drink here and there, and now I've come to the conclusion that it's Tequila!

So I think I need more :P

Which reminds me, what's the status of Xoreos?

Just checked their site, I knew they were covering NWN1, maybe NWN2, but I'd never heard of Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood, and wasn't aware they were going as far as Dragon Age games.

Still chugging along, still slow, still in need of more contributors. :P

Yeah, the last news item is a bit ago now. We've been planning a new release, but I've been kinda waiting on someone who started on doing a release video (the preview I've seen looked really nice), but they've been busy with real life.

In either case, anybody reading who'd like to contribute, please contact me :)

Yeah. NWN, NWN2, KotOR, KotOR2, The Witcher, Jade Empire, and the first two Dragon Age games use the same engine base (with lots of stuff added between the games, of course). Sonic Chronicles is a bit...special, since it's half BioWare stuff, half Nintendo stuff. :)

I got the data for most of those games archived for when Xoreos is a little further along. Good luck.
