IMO the best deal on GOG right now is Renowned Explorers: International Society, 75% off (plus, the expansion More to Explore is also on sale at 33% off).

I've only played it for an hour or so, but it's great so far.

Yeah, but it is a bit odd that the Bundle is not on sale. https://www.gog.com/game/renowned_explorers_bundle

I picked it up last week at a sale on Steam, but it had issues with the screen resolution & windowed mode. So I requested a refund. Has the version on GOG similiar problems?

No problems on my end. Both full screen and in windowed mode the game works flawlessly for me. :)

Bargains are one of my favourite subjects. For me, achieving a bargain is "like winning a game". Heh.

One of the biggest bargains I've spotted is for "Planetary Annihilation". It's a Command & Conquer-like Real Time Strategy game. Gets a score of 62% average on Metacritic.

Currently running at 97% discount on Bundlestars: https://www.bundlestars.com/en/game/planetary-annihilation

Noting - Cross platform multiplayer, and single player campaign. Recently updated (Nov 2016). Already own it (and TITANS) so not buying it for myself.

---

Other than that, I bought "And So It Was" on Steam for £0.47 (90% discount): http://store.steampowered.com/app/432590/

A simple rogue-like ARPG game. Seems like the controls are a bit of a pain until you get used to them.

Well, I ran into the same problem. Only about 60% of the screen are shown if I play full screen. Which seems to be known problem for over a year now :(. But at last I got it to work in windowed mode after finding the correct settings.ini.
