So the web has been abuzz with news of Humble Bundle doing a Humble Indie Store.
If i may direct you to a few-ish links;

http://trine2.com/site/index.php?page=buy - look down
http://www.lexaloffle.com/voxatron.php - I even saw that one before, I didn't put it all together!
Basically put http://www.humblebundle.com/store/product/<namehere> from any bundle and good chance the game will be available to buy.
Or try this in google "site:http://www.humblebundle.com/store/" and be surprised.
You can see there that you can buy the single games directly, yes even steel storm is up there (Alex aka motostep isn't very fond of the HIB guys anymore after his inclusion in one of the bundles..maybe this will cheer him up a bit?).
While apparently Humble has always provided a widget for selling games when you buy a game it all changes now to Humble Store according to IndieGameMag who tested it by buying a game. They contacted Jeff from Humble and got this response;
Also if I can direct your attention to these two links;

Looks like Trine 2 is gearing up for release soon!
http://www.humblebundle.com/store/product/englishcountrytune
This little number called English Country Tune currently only says Windows and Mac, is that the way it's going to be from now on, cross platform meaning more than 1 and not all 3 of us? Haven't seen this one before either so here's a trailer;
And Splot doesn't say it's a beta so hopefully that is also gearing up for a release!
http://www.humblebundle.com/store/product/splot
Over time it will be opened up to more and more developers it seems they are giving it a slow roll out, chances are we will see the Humble Store this year though.
While it may look like it's new news, one of our members actually predicted this will happen! This was in the chatbox/shoutbox/thing.
Well done KIAaze you time travelling monkey!
So what does everyone think to this? Do you think it has the capability to put Desura and Gameolith out of business?

2012: bundle of all previous bundles with minimum price? Humble shop? Humble steam/desura-like client?
Well done KIAaze you time travelling monkey!

Some you may have missed, popular articles from the last month:
Lol, downloaded the game, clicked to run, got white window saying "Missing Plugin".

That's because Native Client isn't enabled by default. You have to go to chrome://flags (typed that in address bar) then enable plugin and restart browser with button that will appear on the bottom of that page.
You can also check if your system is capable of hardware rendering by going to chrome://gpu.

Quoting: "motorsep, post: 3101"Native client is limited to Chrome. Also, I am seeing right now that the game is downloaded, not streamed. So I really don't see where is the advantage of games running in the browsers :(
For the moment yes, but is an open standard and fully free software, so there is nothing limiting it from being implemented in other browsers.
And the advantage is that you can develop for one platform (native client), meaning you can play it like an online game from any supported system, but at the same time it can access the system libraries and hardware in a native fashion, meaning you do not have the associated problems that online games often have.

well, it all sounds sweet in theory, but for the moment, it's not what people believe it could be one day. NaCl has been around for a loooong time. As I recall, Nexuiz was port into NaCl and it ran in the browser way back then. And so far, Chrome is the only browser to support NaCl. So as years have passed, Mozilla didn't bother with it. It's safe to assume NaCl will remain exclusive Chrome feature for quite a while.

Quoting: "Bestia, post: 3098"You can already see it with one of the official Unity3D demos AngryBots:
Flash version
Native Client (NaCl)
Tried the flash version and was nicely surprised. I just had to click on the flash window because of noscript, but did not have to allow any additional scripts.
It ran quite well while in the initial area outside, then slowed down a bit once inside but remained playable. I managed to get to the end of the demo.
But that's on a pretty good machine. Considering the level of graphics, a game like this should run smoothly on even older machines...

Well the bundle shop is something I have desired ever since I missed the bundle with Braid and was unable to buy it from anywhere.
So I am looking forward to it. :)
With Desura, Gameolith, Indivania, etc, things keep looking better.
Hopefully "AAA games" will follow as well...
Hey, maybe there is some cause->effect correlation in my predictions. Let me try again:
2013: Source engine, Starcraft 1+2 engines, all Metal Gear Solid, Deus Ex, Fallout, Morrowind, Bioshock, etc games ported to GNU/Linux. :p
