Good news for you today GOG fans! BIT.TRIP Runner, BIT.TRIP PRESENTS... RUNNER2: FUTURE LEGEND OF RHYTHM ALIEN and BIT.TRIP BEAT are all now on GOG with Linux support.
If you like games that have sick music, you should really try them out. The Runner games are music/rhythm-platformer games, and BIT.TRIP BEAT is a real retro looking shooter. Not played either myself, but it's good to see more Linux games on GOG.
Highly rated by lots of people, so something possibly worth your tux bucks.

These are great games! Very underrated in my opinion. if you like fast paced, ultra-hard "blink and you die" games I highly recommend them.

Runner and Runner 2 are among my favorite games of all time. Pure brilliance.

Quoting: minjRunner for linux is still not on steam...You're right about BIT.TRIP Runner. I don't know what the problem is there. It even shows up on my SteamOS partition's library as ready to install but when I do it downloads 0mb and says it's done. Playing it fails. I really wish they'd fix it because the Humble Bundle DRM-free Linux version works great; shouldn't be too hard. But it's been a long time now and I'm not optimistic. They should at least remove it from the SteamOS library. RUNNER 2 on the other hand works great on Steam/SteamOS.
I might pick up the GOG versions because they support their DRM-free versions better than Humble Bundle anyway.

The "Linux Support" thread on the Steam forums still rumbles on, years after it was even started.
It's a shame that they have a really good Linux port available yet won't make it available on Steam.
I emailed in about it, we'll see if they reply...
