I still keep a copy of this game from the good old Desura days, it's a fun casual puzzle game. Not sure if I'll be able to get the update though, the Desura website looks very weird lately.

The updater works for me in Fedora 32 with no tweaks needed. It's a pity there aren't many players around, but I'm enjoying being slaughtered by bots anyway.

I'm surprised Debian stable is not using LILO as the default boot loader. Time to go back to Slackware.

Naev is a very similar game that I enjoyed a lot in the past. Also free, open source and available in steam. A new version was released just one month ago after some inactivity.

I'm a bit disappointed that this game is unrelated to Litil Divil.
What have you been playing recently and what's your pick this weekend?

I downloaded Diaspora: Shattered Armistice long ago and left it forgotten in a folder. Now I'll try to play it at last, compiling the engine (FS2 Open) was easy on Fedora 31, but the launcher was a pain.

This is one of the very first games I played on Linux ages ago. I just had a quick look at the version provided by my distro and it's impressive how the game has evolved over the years. I remember some rough edges like the videos having crappy subtitles and being a pain to install, but now everything is perfectly polished. It also looks and sounds better than I remember... or at least that's what I though until I installed the Art Revolution mod.

Itch.io won't be the same after this, this epic bundle is drawing a LOT of attention.
This gives me some hope after my disappointments with IGN's store.
