First time hearing of Hey, from what I can find out it's an email service? Gmail (as well as every other email service probably) allows you to get/send email from other client software. Mainly used for Thunderbird/Outlook but gmail too allows you to get emails from other services in itself, is that the feature you mean? That feature was required in the early 90s & earlier, for email services didnt have webpages back then, and that feature stuck over time. Mainly thanks to Outlook probanly

No company in their right mind would allow a store to have paid access and not see a dime from it.

But that is not what's happening. It is not that access to their stores is being sold on Steam, it is that easier access to their stores is being sold on Steam. And I don't think that should be a problem at all, because you can just as well access their stores any other way you see fit.

I assume huge companies would attack Internet Archive with their huge lawyer armies. Legal battles can have lasting effect on how the Internet Archive works.

With the small amount of power required to run his emu, I can totally see unofficial ps1 handhelds being sold and using his emu, which could give him trouble with Sony. At least now he can say that's not something he allows and should be considered software theft when lawyers come knocking? Idk
