GOG have put up some serious classics for Linux, such as Cannon Fodder

I didn't realize LSL 6 was supported by ScummVM. I still have my original copy of that.

I have very fond memories of playing Cannon Fodder, but hadn't actually heard of Sensible World of Soccer, in spite of it being made by the same developer, until earlier this month when one of the founders of Sensible Software launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund a spiritual successor.

Quoting: adolsonWow. It's sad to see the comment section on such a beautiful game devolve into a completely irrelevant debate about DRM and Steam.

I agree, and we do have a forum thread for that discussion.

I backed the Kickstarter campaign and I'm really looking forward to the release. I could probably name at least 10 metroidvanias/action platformers in development for Linux at the moment, so there's a lot to look forward to for fans of the genre. :)

Quoting: scaineNo SteamOS/Linux icon, but it's 60% off for the next couple of days. Looks great though, slightly reminiscent of Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet, which I loved.

Thanks. I forgot to mention that it's 60% off both on GOG and Steam.

Quoting: GuestFailsafe is interesting, but doesn’t look like it will be funded. And recent Unity3D games are crashing on my gaming computer anyway.

I'm in love with Failsafe and really want to see it get funded, but 3D exploration games really aren't doing well on Kickstarter, sadly. ESSENCE and Downward (also parkour) suffered the same fate, although neither did the best job of communicating what kind of games they are.

Quoting: mulletdeathDad Quest and Crypt Underground are all kinds of "waaaaaaaat." Too weird to pass up.

Are you interested in Angels with Scaly Wings (mentioned in the conclusion) too, or is it the wrong kind of "waaaaaaaat"? Dad Quest looks solid, and I've backed that one myself.

Quoting: ricki42Title should have been "Steampunk Puzzler Steamroll Available For SteamOS In Steam Early Access" for maximum steam. :P

It's not too late to fix that embarrassing oversight. ;)

LEGO appeals to people of all ages, hence the 3 people in the picture, from differing age groups.

LEGO is a Danish company, and Denmark has a royalty; and wherever there's royalty, there is bound to be scammy behavior. So there's your 'Royal Scam' hint.

Thanks! :D LEGO it is then!

DRM free gamers have to start playing with a stopwatch. :)
