After several years on Ubuntu, I now use Manjaro at work and at home because:
- I find it more stable
- easy to find support on their forum in english and french
- rolling release
- better packages dependencies rules, for example, when you install wine, it installs everything you need and suggestions are pertinent

Quoting: KacperTheLinuxGamerThe price of the docking station is absurd.
People who keep saying that Valve is "the good guy" will get a rude awakening once more questionable decisions will be made.
I will go with the JSAUX dock instead.

Quoting: AsciiWolfSeems to run great, but sadly another game that has no native port.

It's not really a problem today for Linux users, thank you Wine.
Did you try to play old Linux native games?
It's a very difficult task to launch them on recent Linux distributions.
Today it's more easy to launch a Windows game on Linux than an old Linux native game.

Heroic Games Launcher gets an emergency hotfix for Epic Games Store logins

Quote"This is of course a good reminder that the Epic Store doesn't support Linux and the Steam Deck in any way, so they can break anything whenever they like and it's up to the people working on third-party stuff like Legendary and Heroic to figure it all out for us. This is why buying from Steam directly (or Steam keys from legit stores) is usually your best bet for Linux and Steam Deck."

It's a very important reminder, give your money only to people that share your values.

Valve has achieved what no one had achieved before them: selling PC computers with Linux preinstalled on them and democratizing Linux among PC users, even consoles users...and even Windows gamers, we had to wait 2022 to see that.

Valve dev understandably not happy about glibc breaking Easy Anti-Cheat on Linux

Older native Linux games could be very difficult to launch today on new distro. Most of the time, to play old games on Linux, I use Windows version + Wine. And Windows version have more updates available or mods choice.

Valve sent the developer of Lutris a Steam Deck to help development
17 March 2022 at 7:51 am UTC

Quoting: TheRiddickStopped using Lutris since every time I enabled Mangohud it would hard lock my system up. Happened between MULTIPLE ARCH OS installs. Using Bottles atm, its full of jank but doesn't lock my system up with mangohud....

Or just stop using Mangohud as it is not very essential to play games?
