Lutris game launcher has a huge new Beta update out for testing

Good, like I said before, you don't have to give your different games providers credentials to Lutris and just continue to add manually games or install them by scripts installers from Lutris Website.

Quoting: dpanterSimple, I do not want forced automatic syncing.

If you do not give your GOG/Steam/Humble credentials to Lutris, it will not sync.
Major advantage to sync: Lutris will download directly game from provider when you will launch a script installer.

Quoting: dpanterQuoting: Liam DaweThere should be nothing stopping you manually adding games as normalI'm not expecting anything else in that regard. My concern regards automatic syncing of game libraries from Humble/GOG/Steam etc. without my consent. The wording in the article suggests a higher level of automation than previous Lutris versions.

Ultimate Doom and Doom II updated Unity version finally works with this new proton version.
But still do not play intro movies, you have to press space bar 4 times to access the game.
Some gamers reports now good results too with Red Redemption II.

There is a Lutris script for that game, did you try it?

Quoting: UnixOutlawI recently bought Blade Runner from Gog, thinking it was something "recent" (it wasn't 'recent'), anyway I downloaded the Linux version anyway, and it wouldn't run - then I figured out - "it's just a ScummvM game", so I can probably figure how to run it in ScummVM, but haven't gotten around to that yet...
Played Monkey Island 1 via ScummVM on my NTC PocketChip (single core ARM 512 RAM) a couple years back and that ran perfectly...

Did you try "Override GUI scaling" + "GUI scaling factor" in "Video" preferences ?
"Override Font scaling" + "Font scaling factor" could help too.
