I am still getting the UI scale bug on higher resolutions. Meh.

Harebrained Schemes confirm again Linux support for BATTLETECH is a high priority

Good to hear that they are still committed to it. I backed this game. It's currently sitting in my GOG library, while some of my friends are teasing me how good it is. Meh! But I had never any doubt that Harebrained would follow up on their promise. They ported their previous games and are proved to be Linux friendly, so I have trust in them!

Personally I am not convinced that having player advisory councils are necessarily a good thing, for exactly the reason given in the OP. For some reason, devs tend to pick "community celebrities" for these positions, which regularly happen to be the leaders of the largest and most famous guilds in that game. These people have VERY different viewpoints, expectations and wishes compared to somebody who plays the game casually, or even unguilded players.

Love the game, just the interface needs work. To pan the camera, you have to hold down a key while moving the mouse. That's so 1985. I haven't found a way to reassign keybinds and mouse controls, so that's something the game still really needs.

Origin works fine for me, but I am using Staging.

The new GOG profile system is out, looks quite slick

I have zero need for profiles. I have no idea why people would even be interested in what games I am playing for how long. But I guess we're living in a time when people post Facebook status updates like "9am: Went to the grocery and bought yogurt", and believe the rest of the world finds that somehow interesting, so it doesn't even surprise me.

On the other hand, I -could- appreciate Galaxy on Linux. While I agree with others that it's not strictly needed, I can at least see the value in an app that lets me organize and download my purchases in a convenient fashion.

Rise of the Tomb Raider is now officially available on Linux, here’s a look at it with benchmarks

Glad that it's finally here! I hope Feral is going to make some money off it, considering how extremely late this port is. I assume a LOT of Linux gamers already gave up on ever seeing a port and bought it for Windows or console instead. At least I hope they won't need three years to port the upcoming third part...

Performance looks good, too. Given that it's Vulkan and not OGL, what can the remaining 10% gap to Windows be explained with anyway? Our GPU drivers not being as optimized as the Windows ones? Wrapper overhead? Both?

Steam revamps profile privacy settings, Steam Spy no longer able to operate

The poor privacy controls were the reason why I didn't add friends to Steam at all. I don't want to broadcast all over the world which game I am playing when, and for how long. I wonder why people thought that's anyone's business?

I guess I can handle this a bit more relaxed now. Seems Cambridge Analytica made some people think after all, huh?

Parkitect beta 5 is out with a night mode that makes your park look awesome

I love where this game is going, but they NEED to implement a way to change key binds before it is going live. I HATE having to hold down a key to pan the camera.

Quoting: PatolaI am curious, what would be the reason for a "no sales" policy?

Arrogance.
