QuoteI was such a big fan of ‘80s adventure films....
And Michael J. Fox's voice from Back to the Future? Because that's exactly what the younger character's voice sounds like! Which, I think is great. :)

All three Szymanski brothers are working on a chaotic Harry Potter inspired game

Quoting: RandomizedKirbyTree47Is it going to be pro-slavery? Is it going to be pro-drug-assisted-sexual-assault? Is it going to have you checking the genitals of girls to make sure they are the right kind of girl?

Clearly not much of a Harry Potter rip-off if it doesn't have any of that.
That was probably supposed to be funny...? But it was only annoying.

Out of the few I played, I anticipate The Precinct the most. I'm gonna have to get that game.

Streets of Rogue 2 is more of a given considering how much my kids like the original, and I like it well enough to join them sometimes, although I do get sick of it after a while. I don't like rogues in general. The new one plays more like an RPG, or can I say Grand Theft Auto?

I was never interested in the first one despite a couple friends praising it. But playing it together? Yeah, I'm a bit interested now.

I enjoy a campaign you can finish, but I enjoy them the most when they're co-op. So, I liked Portal 2 more than Portal (and I did enjoy Portal, too).

Steam purchases now clearly state you're just getting a license not ownership

Quoting: ToddLAll this license talk makes me miss the days of playing games without worrying about losing access to them. I know GOG exist but I'm thinking more in terms of the physical media days in the PS2 era and before that didn't require network access to authenticate a license to play.
You have the ability to install your games to flash drives. It's the same thing. It will be compatible with whatever created it.

Yeah, it's not new. We have accepted the way this is I suppose.

I want to add that there are many DRM-free games on Steam which you can back up similarly to GOG games. The difference is GOG lets you store the installer. With Steam games, you crudely compress one or two game folders (depending on whether it's using Proton). You would not want to rely on Steam's built-in backup tool.
