Space Pirates And Zombies 2 now has a Linux beta available

Well picked it up last night, spent last night playing it.
Very smooth and no issues seen (considering they marked it as beta). The only significant issue is if you have more than 1 monitor.

While there are aspects of SPAZ1 in the game, it is closer to a 4x game as you build up resources etc.

RUINER is reconfirmed for Linux once again

Good news. I however will only buy once it is actually available for linux ... no "preorder" to provide cash upfront. A delay for linux is something that can be accepted. I wonder if it was internal miscommunication or it is a convenient statement to cover an actual change (release, not release, release...) either way I look forward to playing this.

I am intrigued by the small surprise for linux & this sort of thing would be great if it was standard for linux. Not some cheesy penguin (like TF2), not something game-changing (annoying preorders bonuses that give people actual in-game advantages) but some visual that gives people a reason to prefer linux over windows: Vulkan could help, additional visual etc...

RUINER, the Unreal Engine brutal action shooter has been delayed for Linux

what doesn't help is they have removed linux and mac from the program support listing and are not replying to queries about the delay.

This looks fun and I will buy, just its a shame there is no info

Livestreaming and recording tool OBS Studio 20.0 released with a modular UI and more

Shame my upload speed doesn't support streaming. I just tried to stream HoN and while my ryzen didn't flinch at the encoding, my ping went from 50 to 400...

A big Yooka-Laylee patch helps some of the annoyances I had

Quoting: KelsI've hated the damn gibberish chat right from the start. It's badly implemented and annoying, so making it unskippable was a major downside for me. By contrast, look at the old PS1 game Klonoa to see the same idea done well.
I was getting that tearing as well.
I have not check yet but I will do shortly

butbutbut I have a Ryzen CPU :(

the posts on the DoW3 steam community get ransacked by a lot who are butthurt. Maybe there are issues but a mate who is into Warhammer4k like me likes he (he prefers DoW2 while I preferred DoW1 ) so we will see... from what I have figured it is itching for an expansion Chaos + IG would reinvigorate the game

Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III releasing for Linux on June 8th

Quoting: DudesowinWith a 4 faction system this looks more like Warcraft III. I hope they have plans to eventually add in Necrons and Tau.

I hope they add the Sisters of Battle in as well. I only got to play them in Soulstorm
IG for me :) but I am a huge IG fan (from tabletops) and DoW1 WinterAssult was <3

the IG make an appearance in DoW3 single-player so I would not be surprised if the next expansion contains them. Nec would be great but I have bad memories from DoW1 DarkCrusade... the Nec were beyond imba (Tau were fun tho).

Right now DoW3 looks dead :( The steam discussion group is filled will trolls denouncing the game but in part they are sort of right. [H] are also dismissive of this game https://hardforum.com/threads/warhammer-dawn-of-war-iii.1898611/

What would be good is an 8th release & a new expansion announced.
