Had to run it with --disable-gpu-compositing to get it to full screen properly on my Nvidia GPU systems (the Windows version wouldn't launch with Proton), but otherwise it runs great and it's goofy fun

I did beta testing for this game almost exclusively on the Steam Deck and it worked really well for me, no major problems at all

Yeah, I've been running my Alienware Steam Machine R2 with Manjaro Gnome (minimal install) with Steam autostarting into BPM for years, although new BPM had brought a lot of headaches, it's a breath of fresh air and an looking forward to trying out a full generic release of SteamOS on it!

Quoting: BigRob029I have a really old Alienware Alpha steam machine that I'm trying to turn back into a console pc with the updated steam front end. Since its got something like a mobile gtx 970 its been quite annoying to uncover all these weird problems. More nvidia fixes is great news!

I'm sure Valve is fine with the competition, too, since they'll make their cut from game sales no matter what device you buy/play your games on
ChimeraOS 39 released switching to the new Steam Big Picture Mode

Not that I notice (using Manjaro Gnome), except Steam does weird things with mouse emulation when using my Steam Controller so it's functional (can move and select things) but the cursor doesn't look like it's moving unless I use an actual mouse. This has apparently been a known issue for years.

Quoting: malkienAre you having any issues with Nvidia and Wayland? (besides the slow BPM)

Does Chimera run X11 or Wayland? I've gotten the new BPM running on my Alienware Steam Machine (GTX960), but I have to run it in a Wayland session. The distro I'm running is Manjaro Gnome (minimal install), the only problem I'm having with this is BPM runs really slow if the desktop is at 1920x1080, but it seems like a lot people with Nvidia GPUs are having performance issues with it.

Quoting: malkienUnfortunately it fails on my Alienware Steam Machine.
A ChimeraOS dev assumes the new interface is not supported by the old Nvidia GTX 960 somehow.
I will try and dig deeper, but in the meantime I had to revert to ChimeraOS 38.

Mine did that, too, but after I did the reassignment within Steam it worked just fine, even after a shutdown/reboot
