I never played Nox back in the day, worth a go 22 years later?

Quoting: hiryuI haven't tried this game under Linux in years... What is its current state? Is the performance still terrible?Like I said in an earlier post;
QuoteBy the way, the native version is still updated and works well today, though you would typically see better performance with Proton. :)

I've said it many times before, Hellraid is definitely worth playing, ignore the haters. You even get a special in-game currency from Hellraid that can be used to purchase pretty good weapons for use in the normal game modes.
Loads of weapons in the various DLC's are not only cosmetic. Some character skins change gameplay as well. If you want the lowdown on the DLC's, I recommend AussieGG's DLC video to get a good idea what's what. Some weapons are definitely overpowered, but that's part of the charm of the game. ;)
Neither Dying Light game is GaaS, you can play single player offline if you wish, with the note that DL2 currently has Denuvo anti-tamper and it requires recurrent online connectivity to verify the license. Hopefully this crap will be removed in the near future.

Dying Light is definitely my absolute favorite game in the last... 20 years, maybe more. Perhaps ever. The sequel doesn't have the same magic in the parkour, it's no way near the same feeling and doesn't respect gravity, like at all. It's fine on its own and still an impressive game.

Steam Deck now lets you override display resolution for games

So forcing a larger game resolution than your display supports would effectively mean downsampling? Or will the game ignore this setting and use default resolution, or even refuse to run?

QuoteFree to keep when you get it before 2 Jun @ 10:00am. Some limitations apply. (?)Hmm.
(?) While supplies last. Games granted during free-to-keep promotions do not drop Steam Trading Cards.

Getting Mesa version updated is a tiny obstacle compared to how older Nvidia GPU's aren't supported in 510+ driver series. Kepler support ends with 470.
Rather long list of cards but TLDR; Kepler is used in most of the desktop GTX600/700 cards and mobile 600m/700m/800m laptops. Check the link for more info, note that some GPU's in the mentioned ranges are Maxwell instead and are still supported in the 510+ driver series.

Be very careful with your enthusiasm people, remember who you're dealing with here. One step towards a good move does not absolve Nvidia from decades of anti-competitive strategies and shady business dealings.
I do not forget and I do not forgive.
This is positive news, yes... but make sure you read the fine print like has been pointed out a couple of times already in these comments. Not the time to be celebrating just yet. If we're talking about hell freezing over, this is more like the first snowflake appearing in the burning skies with hopefully many more joining soon.
And I'm sure the hack had nothing to do with this at all...

For a measly 5€, it's definitely worth it. I've spent way more on plenty games that were not even half as good or fun.

Quoting: lukas333Is the Hellraid dlc any good?There's lots of hate for various reasons, but ignore all that hot air and enjoy it for what it is now. A polished dark/magic/medieval/fantasy themed expansion of sorts with tons of new stuff. This is as close as we are likely to ever get to a standalone Hellraid game, and IMHO it's pretty solid.
