Ok so a little late to the party here (been busy) but the next Bundle is upon is and it's a short one, a weekend long with ~7 hours left.
I have tried to test Mojangs entry but I cannot get the character to move yet...
Pay what you want to support charity while Mojang (Minecraft), Oxeye (Cobalt) and Wolfire (Lugaru) make a game each across the weekend, by supporting you get access to all the games.
I think it's quite a nice idea, just hope they do something with the games after the bundle is over, would be a waste to leave them be completely after the bundle.

I think you have to correct the second game company, it's Oxeye, not Oxygen. BTW this is a very complete and up-to-date site on gaming on Linux, it's been a while since I put it in my RSS feeds. Keep up the good work!

i have been watching this allmost all weekend when i have been at my computer :)
too bad that oxeye game wont have linux build...at least what i heard of...but maybe they will do it later they said.
wolfire game looks promising ..but they have only 3 guys working on it..and 1 of them is just sound guy :)

I don't think so. One of the main requirements for a game to be in the HiB is that it has to work on Windows, Mac and Linux.
Besides, as far as I'm aware of, the Oxeye game is made in Lua which means cross-platforming isn't an issue.

lua yes but its their own engine, and they said in stream no for mac and linux at this point.
also their other game "Cobalt" doesnt have a Linux and Mac yet.
I hope they are were joking then... probably will run well in wine anyway(tho its not the same)... since Cobalt runs really good under wine.

I don't know - this seems like Jeffery Rosen messing around with his friends again rather than really doing anything real with the Bundles. At least the funds go to charity, but it does not help with their image considering I have heard complaints from more than one developer about them being ignored when they tried to put their games in a bundle. It really does seem like they are more interested in putting their friends up than anyone else sometimes.
And if it is true that Oxeye's game will not get a Linux release then that is just deplorable, considering that they took many Linux user's money. It basically is a betrayal of the trust that Linux users have with the Bundles. Now, it is true that they are not keeping the money themselves but that is actually beside the point - they took Linux user's money, knowing full well that the money was being given to them by Linux users with the expectation of a Linux release of their games. If they do not deliver, they have not only screwed those who contributed but also have betrayed the pricniples of the Bundle.
Saving judgment until later on that though, but still, could be a bad trend.

... or they could just "promise to release a linux version in the future" and have us waiting for the new Unreal Tournament.

"Michael's got another nice game that is about to go out the door (Many will want this one- honestly... It's dead cool.) so there's a couple of weeks delay before we get serious about taking it to the duplicators for release- so I'm taking the time to zoom the last known issue and to evaluate the possibilities for PowerPC and AMD64 ports. They probably won't be included in the main CD and would be a follow-on installer of some sort- don't know how Michael will want to do it, but if we get a port going, I'll announce it here and probably in a few of the other venues."

Windows Build of Force of Resistance is out
however i cant get it working under wine either...what a dissapointment. (complaining about cannot create dx9 device)
Dx9 and vcrun2010 is installed just like required for Cobalt, which runs great.
also i noticed that there is cgGL.dll in their game files..which means some of the openGL code is there allready probably.
