UPDATE, you can donate via paypal now too!

I have setup a paypal account and it will take a few days to verify everything.

If you wish to donate via paypal its paypal [at] gamingonlinux.com

Okay guys first time ever for this but GOL is in need of funds, the software we use to run the website Xenforo costs $40 per year for updates and support and our license has run out! This will enable use to receive important bug fixes and security updates as well as new features in the future!

Anyone who donates will be placed on a donators page I will setup, you can have your name as anything and linked to any website you like.

If you wish to help us out you can send any donations via Skrill (Used to be Moneybookers) to my email - liamdawe [a-t] gmail.com, if it asks for what country I am in - England (UK)

You may need to register and have an account with them to do it so I'm not sure if anyone will be able to.

Currently on $20/40 Target smashed!

Anything paid over that I will use towards the cost of upkeep on the server itself to keep GOL alive on the net!

Thank you for any help you are willing to give to keep us going! Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

I'll give it a try later, but for people in the UK perhaps money in an envelope and snail mail is the easiest option?
Liam Dawe Jul 4, 2012
If anyone doesn't mind sending money through the post hey I would accept that too heh!
Qantourisc Jul 5, 2012
Silly question ... If you are in the UK, then what on earth are all those IBAN/SEPA numbers for ?
(Unless you want to hide your number ofcours.)
MaximB Jul 5, 2012
With PayPal and Amazon I would donate, but I'll check out skrill sometimes later when I get home...

Also, put a donation matter so people will know were we stand.
Liam Dawe Jul 5, 2012
How would I go about accepting donations on Amazon then that seems a decent bet, anyone know where to start? There doesn't seem to be any sort of simple way to do it.

Hopefully it should work all okay :)

Well guys we a 50% of the way there thank you to the two people who have donated so far! :D
Hamish Jul 7, 2012
I have got suspensions that Jose may in fact not be a person. If he is, then point withdrawn, but he looks like a spambot to me.

And congratulations on the 50% Liam.
Liam Dawe Jul 7, 2012
Well guys we have already smashed the target, once the money is in my account 5-7 days I will renew the Xenforo license and update us to the latest version :D

Thank you to all for being so generous! I <3 you all!

I wonder what makes my question about the correct answer I should give PayPal when sending donation you think I am a spambot... :-(

Sorry, one of my hobbies is running Wikis, and a common trick done by the bots is latch on to one more phrases and build statements out of them. Since your thing lacked clarification, it seemed suspicious to me. Consider it nothing more than my ever growing weariness over them.
