I think someone does not know what "medieval" actually means if they set the thing in the 17th century.

Would it not be more apt to be set the game in the 14th century? When the Black Death was actually occurring?

medieval is not mentioned on the kickstarter, so they did not set the thing in medieval 17th century :)

as for the plague, it hit Europe on and off from 14th into the 17th century so no issue there.

Well, they still have this notion of attacking knights and noblemen, when in the seventeenth century in England they were already busy attacking themselves. Still, I admit in that case it is a small quibble.

Apologies if medieval messes with your mind. I was feeding my 6 month old baby when I wrote it and it should have read old England. To be precise the 1660's was the last major out break of plague and we still had a world made of the landed aristocracy supported by knights/nobleman and you had a mix of weaponry which will be shown by the game as bows meet muskets. Technically it is a period of change, where old medieval Britain meets renaissance Britain and would be better phrased as 17th Century England or Renaissance England, as the Industrial revolution does not arrive until the 1750's.

If someone could replace medieval with old I would be grateful :)
