So the push for Linux games on Steam just keeps on going, this time we have Postal, Dungeon Defenders and Dungeon Hearts all having their Linux versions up!

It's good to see Dungeon Defenders get fixed up and put onto Steam, I tried a quick run and had no crashes (when it originally came out it crashed constantly).

Postal is another game I played when I was younger and can easily recommend you give it a go, it's well worth the money for the carnage it delivers.

Dungeon Hearts meanwhile that's a new one to me, looks interesting though, I do love RPG games. It has great visuals and the game play looks enticing, may have to give it a blast!

Icculus said this on twitter about DD and Postal:

Dungeon Defenders/linux and a heavily-upgraded Postal 1 are now on Steam! Current mood: twitter.com/icculus/status…

I still miss grimrock, they totally ignoring both steam forum and their own forum, very disappointing

Finally Dungeon Defenders has made it into Steam Linux library. They actually fixed the fullscreen bug and the mouse mouse. I'm glad! They still have not fixed the mana issue though, so the mana just sits there statically... I tried it and made a short recording of it if you'd like to see:

When Dungeon Defenders first got ported, they pretty much ignored the cries of the Linux gamers as well. It might be possible they're working on it in the background, but are in no rush... They also don't feel obliged to answer. Which is not cool.

I just checked with Toploader over at RWS and he did confirm that the bulk of the non-Steam dependant features from the Postal and Postal 2 releases will also be making their way to the Desura versions as well. I do not know if this finally validates some of the Steam trickled down arguments that I have been hearing or just goes to further prove how awesome RWS is. :)
