Really good video by the way, the gameplay was recorded smoothly. I had a hard time last time trying to get Guns Of Icarus Online to record smoothly.

We played public games with two allied SteamLUG crewed ships and managed to have a fairly decent win rate given that most of us hadn't played before.
Most of the voice chat you're hearing in the video is happening via our Mumble server - we tend to use that over in-game chat.
Xpander has also made a discussion thread in our Steam Group with other videos of SteamLUG events if anybody is interested.
If anyone is interested, I still have 2 keys for the GoI to trade.
We could use more people playing it so when we have another event we can have at least 2 ships fully staffed for better coordination.
That said, we could use more people, there seem to be other clans that play, maybe we should organize a clan vs clan battle?
The one problem allot of the matches we had was from us the pilot not watching for being rammed and thus sitting too low allowing the balloon to be instantly popped.
Most strategies used against us seemed to involve ramming and incendiary ammo to over extend the engineers as they'd just keep lighting us up so if we only had 2 fire extinguishers the one engineer was pretty much glued to the balloon and the other was running in circles putting out engines and the hull, never mind the guns.
Yeah, a number of steamlug people weren't using a clan tag.
I feel a bit like everybody's still learning and more casual matches are probably the best thing to do until we skill up enough to look at more structured/competitive play.
