The latest Serious Sam 3 update has landed which adds amongst other useful things customizing your controller buttons if you game with one of those pads!

Here are the changes:
Features:
- Added support for customizable controller bindings.

Bug fixes:
- Fixed a rare crash potentially occuring after picking up a scaffolding pole.
- Fixed a rare crash on loading certain levels in Serious Editor.
- Fixed a rare crash in lua script execution.
- Fixed a crash occuring when a player is killed by a piercing projectile (such as from an autoshotgun) while climbing a ladder.
- Fixed an issue preventing player profile data from being saved when a level is finished.
- Fixed an issue preventing players from spawning in certain splitscreen game modes if level starts with a cutscene.
- Fixed an issue where clients would sometimes wait on a black screen after starting a game.
- Fixed glitches in rendering and collision on some destructible models.
- Fixed several glitches and translation errors in the game's menus.
- Fixed several issues when loading save games created with a previous version of the game.
- Fixed a bug in multiplayer cheat detection.

OSX / Linux:
- Fixed unresponsive input when framerate is low on Linux.
- Custom controller config files must now be located in Content/Config/PLATFORM directory instead of Content/SeriousSam3/Config/PLATFORM directory. Each config file now needs to have an tag with the name of used icon set (see included config files or http://serioussam.com/wiki/index.php?title=Controller_Config#Icons_tag for more information).

Pretty decent update and it's really fantastic to see such a well supported FPS game, I have yet to complete it but I did enjoy it on co-op with the mrs!

One thing that is odd is that you can buy it from Desura but it requires steam so you basically get a key, didn't know Desura did that.

Serious Sam 3: BFE is a first-person action shooter, a glorious throwback to the golden age of first-person shooters where men were men, cover was for amateurs and pulling the trigger made things go boom.
