Hexcells & Hexcells Plus have today been released for Linux, the developer describes it as an ambient logic puzzle game and doesn't give you anymore than that to go with.

Seems odd to me to release a game with such a tiny description, doesn't really hook one in now does it.

It looks like only Hexcells is available on the website directly with the standalone expansion Plus on Steam.

Bought this directly from the developer's site last year and it's a really good puzzle game. Smart and a good thing to play between other things.

This is a dumb attitude. But I'll humour you with an answer anyway. Here's a review that sums it up: http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2013/09/13/wot-i-think-hexcells/

I like those small timewasters ;^>
So after glimpsing at the linked review (thanks for that, rustybroomhandle) I just bought it from the developer/Humble. Indeed a very nicely made game, I'm quite sure I'll fire that up quite often in the next time :D
