Usually losing your ship to pirates calls for restarting that section of the game or loading a save, but in an MMO that means immediately losing 100k of virtual currency. Just thinking about all the equipment you could get with that makes me frown...
Entropy from Artplant is a space MMO with an open universe of 120 star systems. You are free to do pretty much anything in the galaxy, for example you might want to become a pirate and live of the other players' precious cargo or find out the least taxed trade route and transport all sorts of goods between systems, it's all up to you. You can also customize your spacecraft with a variety of sensors, weapons, cargo holds etc. to help you with the profession of your choice and form factions to cooperate with other players.
Entropy is definitely an interesting game and I am really glad one of my friends gifted it to me. However I've had some problems with it (which is acceptable and can be expected, it's in the Early Access afterall) and the start has been a bit rough for me and losing my ship to pirates quickly stripped me of 100k credits. Once it matures a bit it will no doubt be absolutely awesome and I might have to work hard not to get addicted to it.
On an unrelated note, I would love some feedback about the GOL Cast. I am starting to think that these videos are getting extremely long and possibly tedious to watch and I am planning on doing them in a tighter, more scripted format in the future with voice-over commentary. This way I could pack more information into a smaller package on the expense of entertainment value and increased pre-production time.
