Firewatch is a mystery set in the Wyoming wilderness, where your only emotional lifeline is the person on the other end of a handheld radio. Okay you have my attention Campo Santo.
Not much info on it yet, they are keeping it under wraps for now, but the FAQ clearly states Linux is a platform.
They have a video up now showing some prototyping as a bit of a teaser:

They have some interesting concept art too:
About
In Firewatch you play as a man named Henry who has retreated from his messy life to work as a fire lookout in the Wyoming wilderness. Perched high atop a mountain, it’s your job to look for smoke and keep the wilderness safe. An especially hot and dry summer has everyone on edge. Your supervisor, a woman named Delilah, is available to you at all times over a small, handheld radio and is your only contact with the world you’ve left behind.
But when something strange draws you out of your lookout tower and into the world, you’ll explore a wild and unknown environment, facing questions and making interpersonal choices that can build or destroy the only meaningful relationship you have.
I will keep you posted on this one folks! Looks like it will be some sort of adventure/survival/horror game.
What did Henry see? So, many, questions!

Could be interesting; first person games are a bit saturated at the moment, but if they don't turn it into a shooter, it could definitely stand out.

For some extra context, Campo Santo is comprised of people who've previously worked at places like Telltale, Double Fine, Klei, LucasArts, Activision, Lucasfilm and Studio Ghibli, so there's some serious heritage of storytelling and compelling worlds at work there.
I was overjoyed when they announced last year that their first title would be supporting Linux and have been following with close eyes since. I encourage others to do the same.
