There seems to be a lot of "x Simulator" games coming out recently. Tabletop Simulator aims to simulate a ton of different board-games with some funny results. Funny because it has physics included, so if you get frustrated you can flip the table and ruin it for everyone else just like in real life.

Does anyone else find it slightly odd to have basically a board-game simulator? I guess it's no weirder than Goat Simulator.

Sounds like it's pretty much the Garrys Mod of board-games.

Features
  • Online sandbox playground that you play how you want.
  • Unlimited games thanks to sandbox, no rules design.
  • Multiplayer physics with objects that collide and interact just how you would expect.
  • Create your own custom mods and play with your friends.

  • Up to 8 people can play together on the same table & talk on in-game voice chat.
  • The perfect “game night” fun due to seamless game loading & saving.
  • Tons of pre-made game modes with the option to make your own games.

Unfortunately, right now the game is broken on Linux. You get a CTD every time you load it up. Might work in Wine until they get that fixed, but I didn't try that because I have a Windows partition.

Uh, I accidentally clicked on that "Report Spam" link. Sorry, Izberion...

I Kickstarted this project, so no, it's not weird. It could be really cool to play free-form virtual board games with friends.

*slaps*

I really need to move that link.

Edit > It now asks if you really want to report spam when clicking the link, this will prevent accidental submissions :)

The game is broken for those using the proprietary Nvidia driver. I am experiencing from this on my Nvidia 690.

The game barely runs on my AMD 8550G with a lot of lag. (APU)

Gonna try it on my Intel 4000 HD in a minute.
