Some more Icculus related info for you today as Icculus has been replying to tweets about Goat Simulator's Linux version. It's still coming folks don't panic!
In a tweet Ryan "Icculus" Gordon posted this picture:

Don't give up hope yet, as we will all be able to get our goat on sometime soon. Apparently Ryan is a bit of a silent man while porting and the original developers have stated in public he's a bit slow to reply to his emails:

Goat Simulator actually had a big patch recently too, so there will be plenty of content ready for us when we finally get our hands on it and can be done with all of this goat business.
Check the game out on Steam.

QuoteOkay so here's an update. Every time we mail Ryan Gordon (the guy working on the port), he takes weeks to reply and he never gives us an exact release date, we just get told "it's coming soon". So we don't have any more information than you guys.
If you want an update on the port (or if you want the porting to go faster), you should contact Ryan Gordon:

Since he's the only one working on the port, he has all the information and should be able to answer way more questions than we can.

I think Icculus should finish a project before starting another. Sanctum 2 have a lot of bugs...

The goat runs on Linux!
Well, in due time at least :)
I second your sentiment leillo1975. Let's hope he's patient, and doesn't take on more jobs before he's completed the ones he's doing now.

Is there any chance of doing a GOL person of the year poll? This guy should be nominated, just from looking at his current projects https://trello.com/b/y0wvS4ec/icculusboard :
Goat Sim
Sanctum 2
Clockwork Empires
Postal
Limbo
Psychonauts
3 unannounced projects
Obviously many more in the past. Its funny, last night there were 4 unannounced projects and one turned out to be Limbo, so who knows what these other 3 are. But yeah, person of the year! His Steam Dev Days talks are cool as well.

I give him credit for some of his ports. But equally some have been rushed in the past and some are just in a terrible state. I'm sure there are other guys who would happily port games to Linux and it would be healthier for the dev community as a whole to not also pile jobs on him but spread them around.

Haha "punk kids".
I have been using his ports for a long time but I do hope that he finishes sanctum 2 but it looks like he has a lot on his plate. Have been a fan of his since the beginning and I agree give him some time and he'll come through.
