It looks like Warlock 2 will be on Linux in a matter of days as it downloads and even supplies a Linux binary, but it doesn't seem to run just yet.
Warlock 2 shows up in my Linux game list on Steam. It is downloadable and comes with a Linux binary! However it doesn't launch yet as it can't find a libc++.so.1 but it looks VERY promising!
About
The worlds have been shattered, and you have been exiled to one of these shards. The time has come to return to Ardania and seek vengeance on those who cast you out. Battle through the fractured realms inhabited by other exiles, hostile Mages and terrifying creatures. Once back in Ardania you will face your greatest threat: The United One and his four Vicars. Conquer all who oppose you, reclaim your home and take your revenge.
Warlock 2 is a turn-based strategy game of fantasy warfare. Rival against Great Mages, lead mighty armies into fierce battles, wield ancient magic and faith as your weapons.
Experience the challenge in single or multiplayer. Play the new "The Exiled" mode or enjoy the game in the Sandbox mode.

Hi Liam,
It seems to me that this library is available on Debian Jessie or Sid with this package :
libc++1 : https://packages.debian.org/sid/i386/libc++1/filelist

Hi!
copy/paste of my reply on:
http://steamcommunity.com/app/205990/discussions/0/46476145275454708/
copying the shared lib into the gamedir and creating the symlink libfmodex-4.44.17.so to libfmodex.so just works! The game starts (slow loading?) and in the title screen I get a requester that my system has low memory (24 GB should be enough ;)).haven't tried playing so far but it looks good!

1 Likes, Who?
after a 2nd launch the mem requester didn't show up anymore and the game loaded fast.
starting a new game worked fine but I quit after I got some graphical glitches when attacking the wolf den on the right in the tutorial. apart from that a very promising first unofficial binary :)

How come the interface looks almost exactly like the one on Civ V?

It's been downloadable a few weeks now. There does not seem to be an ETA as of yet

Pricing on the game seems awfully dumb. It's cheaper to buy the base game and then upgrade than to buy one of the more expensive editions.

Being a Paradox published game, I'll probably buy it (<3 you Paraodox!). Reviews don't sound good though :S.
But since I never played the first one, and they say this one is the first with more lipstick... through in Linux version and I guess we have a winner?

Paradox has been pretty good about porting to Linux: Crusader Kings 2, Europa Universalis IV, Cities In Motion 1 & 2. They've made me a customer.
