Today GOL asks: what have you been playing on Linux, and what do you think about it?
I've personally been playing a lot of OpenRA, which I think I may have an addiction to. Really love the classic Westwood RTS games, I just wish the AI was a little better.
We had some fun playing Left 4 Dead 2 last night as well, such a good solid game. Great fun to play with friends, even if we did utterly fail at putting fuel in the car at the end of a certain level. Stupid Tank.
Now that the XCOM 2 patch and DLC is out I am also very much looking forward to getting back to kicking alien ass.
This coming week I am hoping to polish up our statistics page some more and include a resolution picker too. Along with general bug fixing of the website I am also planning to continue rolling out more features and new sections, but more on that later.
So many games, so little time!
Also, again, thanks for all the support on Patreon!

XCOM: Enemy Unknown and Knights of the Old Republic II. Both great games, though I keep getting stuck on a large battle in KOTOR. First it was on Nar Shadda against a horde of Gand, and then while still on Telos against the largest group of Czerka mercs.

Dota 2. There is plenty of custom games that are very funny

I also watched the entire Alien franchise for the first time ever - I know, late to the party - and jumped at the chance to purchase Isolation when it went on sale. I've been playing some of that, but as much. Partially because I'm terrified about confronting the Xenomorph. The important question: What was your favourite Alien film, 1,2 or 3?
Lol Gotta go with 2.

Descent Underground. It's got a long ways to go but the community is awesome and it's fun participating in a unfolding project. Rough around the edges is an understatement but if you're a Descent nut it's the place to be. More of a hobby than a game at this point.
Stellaris. Very polished under Linux, had no issues at all not to mention is a really fun game. It's unique, overwhelmingly complex yet casual at the same time. Still on my original game I started on release day. It's pretty much a Internet spaceships spreadsheet.
Wargame: AirLand Battle. The RTS that's nothing like other RTS's. Finite resources, realistic units modeled after actual military assets. I don't even play multiplayer, just skirmish with 67 hours wrapped up into it.

Ronin ( also pretty cool ). But then I bought Factorio. Now running my own server and have just gone fully solar. That game is awesome.

I have been trying to play some Stasis, but it's currently too broken to take it seriously. The atmosphere is excellent, I'm really looking forward to having a functional build.
Other than that the PS4 has been taking up my spare time, but I won't talk about that. :-)

I've revisited the Talos Principle with Vulkan, and let me tell you, it's as smooth as butter. I was on the fence about how much better Vulkan would be, but no more. It's really a "night and day" kind of difference. We need to encourage other devs to hop on the Vulkan train.

Every day min 1 round of CS:GO
Ballistic Overkill so easy to play. Just jump in and shoot.
Verdun Looks so great. My all time Favourite.
Payday 2 I like the Mall crasher, so much...
And ARMA 3 the campaign is so difficult, and servers are so empty...
