Now that doesn't sound like much, but that trailer makes it look really quite amazing. A simple sounding idea, but the execution is brilliant.
Will have to give it a go for sure sometime soon. If you've played it, let us know how you feel about it in the comments!
About the game (Official)
Hue is a vibrant, award-winning puzzle-adventure, where you alter the world by changing its background colour. You explore a dangerous grey land, unearthing coloured fragments on a journey to find your missing mother. As obstacles match the background, they disappear, creating new and exciting puzzles - full of peril, mystery… and colours unseen.
You can find Hue on Steam.

I think it's great. I beta tested the Linux version and will hopefully put a review up in not too long. (I can't believe it's been a couple of weeks already since it was released.) The puzzles are fun and never get frustratingly difficult, though some of the puzzles late in the game took me a while to figure out. There are also a few challenges that require somewhat fast reflexes, but nothing that you won't get past after a few tries. It also has secret collectibles, and I quite enjoyed finding several of them. If I were to compare it to other games, I think the closest comparisons (that I've played) are Monochroma and In Between.
EDIT: Regarding the title of the article: wasn't Hue on Linux since release? I thought it was, since the Linux version seemed pretty solid when I tested it the weeks before, but I'm not 100% sure.

I didn't mean it specifically like it was a delayed release, just that it is now on Linux, as in, it's released :)
Be interesting to read your review on it sometime.

Ok, I understand. :) I hadn't been paying attention, so it could have been delayed for all I knew.

Like Flesk, I also helped beta test this game. I wasn't expecting it to captivate me the way it did, and was pleasantly surprised by its structure, pacing and thoughtful level design.
IMO, it does a lot with little.
