It's question time today here on GOL, so sit down and come have a chat. Today I ask a very simple question: what game would literally blow your mind if it came to Linux & SteamOS?
I've asked myself this very same question and while it looks like a simple question, the truth is that it's actually quite difficult to narrow it down.
There's a fair amount of great games we don't have and that's probably a heavy understatement. There's a good 10-20 games I badly want on Linux and narrowing them down was a bit of a task.
I think my all time wish right now would be: Fallout New Vegas.
A game I actually own, as it's one of the left-overs from back when I was dual-booting. I can't bring myself to load up Windows to play it. My Windows hard drive doesn't even fit in my PC case, so it becomes a nuisance to actually load Windows any way now.
Why Fallout New Vegas? I've been a Fallout fan since a young age and I think I've actually played all of them now. I love the world, the style of it and the gameplay is engrossing as hell. It was my favourite of the series by far.
What's yours and why?

Definitely The Witcher 3, feels like CD Projekt Red has sort of abandoned the Linux community.

World of Warcraft as it would show great progress to have games from another large platform outside of Steam to have games from Linux. It is also my most played and favourite game so it would be fantastic if I could play it on Linux without using WINE or GPU Passthrough.

You stole mine.
Any of the Fallout's really. Even Tactics native would make me happy.
I'd like 4, but I'm not as excited by that idea. It was fun to play, but it didn't feel like a real fallout game to me.

I dream of official support for Arma 3. I love that game and it have plenty of mods that are almost as valuable as entire games, also some of my friends are interested.

Rainbow Six Siege :D
I feel like we're lacking awesome shooters on Linux anyway, but Siege with its destruction, competitive and hero-based gameplay is simply unique, and so addicting!
I'm dual-booting Windows only for this game, and if it were to be ported to Linux... ♥
But it's Ubisoft, and I don't think Siege was one of their top sellers, so I doubt it will ever happen... perhaps in a few years when Siege2 happens and Linux marketshare has grown to something more reasonable :P

GTA 5Yeah it was a toss-up between that and Fallout for the top spot for me! GTA or something like it would be extremely welcome.

At this point my mind is thoroughly blast proof when it comes to Linux ports.
But if Santa were to stuff Dishonored ( or shooting for the stars Dishonored 2 ) into the Linux stocking I'd be a very happy camper

The first thing came to mind was Skyrim. The next thing would be Fallout 4. But, Fallout 3 and/or New Vegas would be very welcome additions as well.
