Rise to Ruins [Steam, Official Site] update 'InDev 25' will see your villagers get a bit thirsty, as the game has introduced the need to quench your villagers thirst.

You will need some new buildings, like a well to gather water, a purifier to clean dirty water, a rain catcher and so on. It sounds really in-depth too, since overworking will increase a villagers thirst and drinking will reduce their heat.

This also comes with new roles for your villagers, since you will need people to put water into bottles or delivery buckets from a rain catcher.

That's not all, there's been a ton of optimizations, AI rewrites, bug fixes and other smaller features included too. The game has come along so well it's quite amazing, one of the best Early Access games around by far.

Also, a new mechanic has been introduced, which is where you have a full-moon night every 7 days. Monsters don't attack during a full-moon, unless your villagers get too close.

See the full changelog here.

I do suggest checking it out if you like your village builders. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

It's a pretty cool game, although I got bored after a few hours. The game is so sandboxy by nature, while I really like having objectives.
