Slime Rancher [GOG, Steam], probably one of my top 10 indie games has just left Early Access joining the world of fully released games.
The new release comes with a bunch of optimizations that should hopefully make it smoother, even though it ran pretty damn well already.
It also adds in all of the "starmail", the letters that get sent to you from Casey, which give you some background information. It also adds in the final Hobson journal nodes, from the previous owner of the ranch.
To "complete" the adventure mode, you need to have read the final mail from Casey, which will then trigger the credits and unlock some end-game surprise content.
They already have a free content update in the works, which will include the following:
- A navigation update that includes a map system.
- Iron Rancher Mode, a special game mode that offers new challenges and a different way to experience Slime Rancher.
- Casual Mode, a more relaxed Slime Rancher experience that removes the tarr entirely.
- Special NPC rancher zones that allow daily participation in mini-game like missions.
- Other cool stuff we’re not ready to announce!
Honestly if you haven't purchased it, I'm going to think you're nuts. It's a very relaxing game and it can be truly quite hilarious too, with those silly little (and sometimes huge) slimes that really do love to eat.

Already had it from a Humble Bundle.
May just give it a go now that it left EA.

There's a road map here:

I do feel that the navigation stuff etc. should've been in there before leaving EA, but I also like the challenge of actually learning maps like the old days :D

Finally a map! The game is really good but I'm always afraid to get lost...
Also It gets a bit boring if, like me, you have based the ranch only on one type of Slime and made hybrids with other slimes to get the "Favourite food" bonus: everyday the same vegetable and the same plort... I have so much rad slimes Largos that my character have developer mutations:D
The new modes are welcomed, do you know if the Casual mode will remove the scary Feral slimes too?
Does this game have mod support too? Has anyone made a penguin/Tux Slime?:D

Great stress relief, in the same way as Stardew Valley. Feels a bit repetitive, but then again it's a farming game. Definitely worth its current price.
