Friday Livestream with Samsai at 6 PM UTC!

By -

Hello there, potential viewer! I am here to notify you that you have a one-time opportunity* to participate in an adventure unlike any other*! So, get your snacks ready for another Friday Livestream! Games will be played (possibly not amazingly well) live on a Linux system, purely for your entertainment (and mine)!.

*Statements above may not be 100% accurate, considering the format hasn't changed in years. Oh well.

Aspyr Media doesn't release a whole bunch of stuff but usually when they do something it's noteworthy. Luckily, one such release arrived this week in the form of InnerSpace, an exploration game in a strange and rather inside-out kind of a world. And I got a key from them to test it! So, we'll naturally play some of that at the beginning of the stream.

As for the other titles, I went scavenging my unholy Steam library in search of content and I found out a couple of games I hadn't played for one reason or another. So, I figured I'd try something I have heard about, seen being played (at least to some extent) but I never played myself for whatever reason: Stardew Valley. Everyone I've seen talking about it has usually had something good to say about it, so let's have a look at it. In case we still have some time/get bored, I also dug up something called Scrap Garden which I got in 2016 but similarly never played, although I haven't heard much about it.

Finally, we do also have an on-going Livestream Project in the form of West of Loathing, so hop on the saddle and ride with us till the dawn on a wacky western adventure.

Hopefully you will enjoy tonight's show and may you all have a wonderful weekend!

I'm a Linux gamer from Finland. I like reading, long walks on the beach, dying repeatedly in roguelikes and ripping and tearing in FPS games. I also sometimes write code and sometimes that includes hobbyist game development.
