Super Inefficient Golf is what you get when you combine Golf with many explosions and it's out with Linux support.

Released last month which I somehow missed, the developer was kind enough to send along a key and I've had a literal blast with it. I'm a big fan of exploding things and I actually don't mind Golf as a sport either, so combining them together is an easy win for me.

There's something so incredibly satisfying about attaching exactly the right amount of explosive devices to a small ball, catapulting it through the air and straight into a hole. I'm but a simple man, this kind of stuff pleases me greatly. It's an obviously silly game, but who needs to be serious all the time? It does exactly what it needs to, it makes you laugh, makes you want to keep doing better and it does it all with explosions.

Experimenting with it has been the most fun part of it, with the kinds of tricks you can do. One course I had mines all over the ball to keep it in the air and change directions to get as far around a course as possible with one take. It's quite ingenious really, powering a Golf ball up high and then smashing it down towards a hole with different sets of mines—glorious.

It's an oddly relaxing title, a little short but considering the low price I wasn't expecting huge amounts of content. Find Super Inefficient Golf on Steam for £4.99. I need more!

It's a shame they do not offer multiplayer. That's kind of what silly golf games are perfect for.

Agree. I think I would get this if it had multiplayer.
