Stoneshard [Official Site] is a pretty good sounding open-world RPG, it's currently on Kickstarter with a promise of Linux support and they've nearly hit their goal. With 26 days left to go, they've hit $28K of their $30K goal, so it looks like they will manage it easily.
Inspired by the likes of Diablo, ADOM, Darkest Dungeon and more, they have a lot to live up to in terms of their inspiration. What makes it sound quite interesting, is the survival elements you heal to deal with like diseases, broken bones, mental health and more.
Linux is very clearly listed with a tux icon right at the top of their Kickstarter, same goes for their official site and the presskit.

Here's what they say it will feature:
- Embark on an adventure through a vast procedurally-generated medieval world
- Lead a Сaravan of valiant allies and expand your following
- Struggle with physical & psychological traumas and cure them by whatever means necessary: medicine or other more shifty means
- Upgrade and customize your character any way you want to
- Wage war on your enemies: vampires, the undead, mercenaries and other foes, with over 100+ weapons
- Follow the will of ancient Gods and gain some of their power in return
- Should you fall in battle, another hero is ready to take your place and continue the journey
They do have a Prologue playable alpha, which sadly is only for Windows. I've messaged them to ask if we can get it on Linux too. Update: The developer replied to me about this "Yep, we try to release Ubuntu build on this week."—so that's a good sign.
Head over to their Kickstarter to learn more.
Thanks for the tip, Razing!
