Do you possess the powers of observation and deduction? Throne of Lies might put that brain of yours to the test. It's a pretty amusing online game of deceit, betrayal, murder and more. After being released into the wild for over a year now, they've release a major anniversary patch.

There's quite a lot of changes included, here's some highlights:

  • New class: The Chronomancer (+Converted Timesnatcher)
  • New class: The Maid (+Converted Handmaiden)
  • Revamped models
  • Emote (gesture) slots upped from 1 to 3 slots
  • Bug fixes
  • & so much more!

Full patch notes can be seen here. Find Throne of Lies on Steam, it's 50% off for a week now too.

Throne of Lies is a mafia-style social deduction game that enhances the genre with over 40 classes, 100+ abilities, online multiplayer, 3D visuals, vibrant lore, royal classes, multiple evil factions and a well-balanced conversion system that makes every game contentious until the end; it is a throwback to the days when friends could gather around to stab each other in the back.

For a quick look at the game, here's their original launch trailer:

On top of all that, we have a couple of keys to give away!

If you wish to win a key, all you need to do is draw your best portrait of a King (it doesn't need to be a work of art). Upload it to your favourite image host, embed it into your comment with the BBCode tags (click the "img" button) and Wednesday a winner will be picked sometime in the evening UK time.

I cheated and had my 5 year old draw it for me.

And there I was..hiding in the shadows..waiting to strike at the very last moment with minimum effort..one could hear the evil "muhahahaha" laughter..it is SO fitting I thought..especially considering the nature of the game..and so I waited and waited..but then..suddenly..a notification (yes I was obviously silently/stealthy watching this thread - what question is that?)..everything collapsed. All this preparation.. There is an entry to the competition!!!..there is no way I thought..as I was trying to hit the notification link with my trembling mouse cursor..and then I saw it..I can never win against THAT!! ..you cheater!!!11!!!1!!!

er..in all seriousness..if there is only one key then I do not want it (not that I stood a chance), if there are more however..well..I'll be running for second place with..this..pathetic..and utterly disgusting drawing of mine that screams "not even an effort" from every single available angle..I guess I will get disqualified..but hey.. :P

Spoiler, click me

Enjoying the game very much but the tutorial did not prepare me at all! Lol

My first game I got possessed on the first night and never did quite figure out what was happening for the rest of the game.
