Feral Interactive, one of the only companies to be porting AAA games to Linux have put out a request for more port suggestions.
THE REQUESTINATOR is whirring noisily into action! Feed your game requests for macOS, Linux or mobile into this marvellous machine and they will be processed with unnecessarily complex computational algorithms.
You can see the posts on Twitter and Facebook.
While it's a bit of fun, it will be interesting to see how many of the requests Feral actually end up porting. They're already working on Life is Strange 2, Total War: THREE KINGDOMS and Total War: WARHAMMER II is due out this month. So they're still bringing us some good games, but I do hope they seriously have more coming up.
If they really want a list, being realistic here my top three right now to keep me happy would be:
- HITMAN 2
- Just Cause 4
- Shadow of the Tomb Raider
I think those would be possible, since they already have some sort of contacts with each studio and publisher and have done previous titles. In the case of Just Cause 4, it's the same developer that did Mad Max which Feral Ported to Linux. Those are my realistic titles, however, if they want to push they boat out a little how about:
- Dying Light 2
- Dead by Daylight
- Divinity: Original Sin 2
What would be your top 5, that you would want Feral to port to Linux?
- Shadow of the tomb raider
- Metro: Exodus
- Hitman 2
- Darksiders 3
On the long term:
- Cyberpunk 2077
- Red Dead Redemption 2
- Doom eternal
- Dying Light 2
- Resident Evil 2 remake
Who am I kidding though, it's Bethesda / Zenimax, and I'm not even sure if they're aware that Linux exists :(.
Quoting: BrisseHITMAN 2
Shadow of the Tomb Raider
This, and I won't ask for anything more for xmas.
Quoting: ageresHave they already ported all previous suggested games? If so, I'd like something that don't work with Wine and DXVK, like Resident Evil 7 or upcoming RE2 remake.
Of course not, hundreds have been proposed. I guess it makes sense for them to see if the demand has changed, with recent... developments, though.

Well they have a point...
If the Phoenix Point devs are not capable of porting themselves give it to the experts...
So Feral, look at the top games played on steam and port the ones that dont work with proton. Often times its very hard to be proactive with multiplayer games because its almost impossible to tell which ones are going to be a hit or not until they are, but regardless we appreciate your work guys!
1. Kingdom Come: Deliverance
2. Kingdom Come: Deliverance
3. Kingdom Come: Deliverance
4. Kingdom Come: Deliverance
5. Kingdom Come: Deliverance

Quoting: jardonTbh I think Feral should focus hard on trying to port multiplayer games. Thats the biggest area that Proton is lacking and one of the biggest dealbreakers with people trying to switch from windows. If you cant play with your friends then they are way less likely to stay on the Linux side of the fence.
they do with warhammer
just look at the top100 list
https://www.protondb.com/
there are so many linux games. which game should they port?
pubg.... dont think so
ubisoft (clancy / for honor)... dont think so
gta5.... rockstar same as ubisoft
paladins, path of exile.... free to play... how should this work?
dead by daylight... maybe
there is not much to port for feral on the MP market, which brings the moneyzzzz
Now there's a thought. Maybe if we renamed it to TOTAL WAR: Skyrim....
Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden
Dying Light 2
Metro: Exodus
Cyberpunk 2077
Kingdom Come: Deliverance
Shadow of the Tomb Raider
ELEX
Vampyr
Just Cause 3 or 4
Phoenix Point
Any of the above would be most welcome.
Disco Elysium
The Technomancer
Grim Dawn
Mafia III
Jagged Alliance: Rage!
...would also be welcome.
