After a very promising demo release back in august, the fast-paced action RPG shooter Space Robinson is now available on Linux.

Created by Luxorix Games, this is their third game as an indie team after Panda Chunky and Spaceship Looter. For Space Robinson they teamed up with Alawar Premium who've published multiple other Linux games like Beholder and Do Not Feed the Monkeys.

A similar gameplay feel to Nuclear Throne and Enter the Gungeon but they've managed to craft an experience that still manages to come off unique thanks to the design of all parts. Enemies wildly vary, with different behaviours that can catch you off guard and there's some nice progression systems. There's even a day and night cycle, with night bringing more crazy creatures trying to kill.

I wasn't sure what was happening with the Linux version, after the game released for Windows and macOS back in October. Asking on Steam, a few hours later it was put up—sweet!

You can pick it up on Steam now where it's on sale or Humble Store. It's also on GOG but no Linux build yet.
