Always nice to see an indie developer doing reasonably well! Goblinz Studio, creator of Legend of Keepers: Career of a Dungeon Master, have announced a pretty great start for it.
Releasing only on March 19, they said on Twitter how they were going to do a special message about it hitting a 30K milestone but they hit over 33K before being able to to do so. It's important to note that this is across Humble, GOG and Steam together. They also mentioned in another Twitter post about 4 days after release, that it had sold 1.3K copies on GOG alone in that time.

One possible reason for them doing so well in such a short time, is how they really hit the marketing sweet-spot. It's long been the case that simply being on Steam doesn't mean you will sell, there's just too many games for people to look at and simply being a good game is not a guarantee. In the case of Legend of Keepers, Goblinz released a free Prologue quite a few months before release to build up hype/wishlists and enable them to polish up the full release based on feedback. Their launch timing with so many more people at home during the Coronavirus outbreak could have possibly helped too.
Is it actually any good though? Well, it has a "Very Positive" user rating on Steam and I enjoyed my initial few runs with it. The main issue currently is a lack of content to keep people playing, and they've been watching people stream it to get a better idea of where to focus with content updates on the way. They originally planned 6 months to 1 year in Early Access, and it sounds like they will have the money to support it for a while.
You can pick it up on Humble Store, GOG and Steam.
There are a few balance issues (like invincible combinations), but there are also lots of possibilities, and a nice corporation humour touch, to keep us entertained for a while :)
