The next set of games coming to Stadia Pro has been announced with Trine 4, Hotline Miami 2 and Floor Kids plus April 30 is your last chance to grab some of them.

Stadia's team has confirmed that SteamWorld Heist, El Hijo, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, and Enter the Gungeon will be leaving Stadia Pro so April 30 is the last you have to claim them. After that you keep them as long as your Stadia Pro sub keeps up, everyone else will need to buy them in the Stadia store.

On May 1 at 5PM PT / May 2 at Midnight UTC , all Stadia players will be able to try out the Resident Evil Village demo for an hour with the demo staying live until May 9 at 5PM PT / May 10 at Midnight UTC. No subscription requires, it's an open demo for all users.

Upcoming Stadia Games:

  • Legend of Keepers: Career of a Dungeon Manager - April 29
  • Resident Evil Village - May 7
  • Resident Evil Re:Verse - May 7
  • ARK: Survival Evolved - May 26
  • Cris Tales - July 20
  • HUMANKIND - August 17
  • Life is Strange Remastered Collection - September 10
  • Life is Strange: True Colors - September 10

Game Updates:

Serious Sam 4 got the State Share feature of Stadia added. This allows players to create game states when you finish a round of the Survival game mode on any of the three available maps. Sharing a screenshot/game state when you finish a round allows you to invite your friends to play the same mode, on the same map, and challenge them to match or beat your time.

There's also a number of discounted games in the Stadia store for Stadia Pro members, and some deals for everyone.

Wait, when previously asked about a Trine 4 Linux port, the Trine devs said:

No plans at the moment. We currently don't have much of the old Linux code left and no room in schedule to make a port.

So I guess they made room in the schedule for Stadia.

Or maybe they're using dxvk (?)

All is said.. another exemple of a Stadia game without a Linux port available...

I think is worth mentioning that Google just opened another cloud center in Warsaw, Poland.
https://cloud.google.com/about/locations
This might improve the latency in the area for both Stadia and GeforceNow users (yes, they use the same centers, at least in Europe).
The new server is called "europe-central2", and you can choose it manually for GFN (Stadia doesn't offer the manual option, is only automatic).
You can use this to have an idea of the latency you might experience:
https://gcping.com/
Next planned cloud centers are in: Doha (Qatar), Toronto (Canada), Melbourne (Australia), Delhi (India), Paris (France), Milan (Italy), Santiago (Chile), and Madrid (Spain)

They might, a Trine developer mentioned that they do translate Direct3D to Vulkan:

Unless of course they did their custom translator, but I doubt it. DXVK works pretty good (see Metro Exodus), so why not.

Sorry for a noobie question, but I'm new to stadia and I'm not certain if I claimed Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light on Stadia Pro can I still play it for free (on Pro) after April 30 or not? In other words I'm not sure what "keeping a game" in Stadia means.

It works the same as PlayStation Plus and whatever Xbox Gold thing is nowadays.

When you claim a game, it stays in your account and playable while you have Stadia Pro. If you stop Stadia Pro, you cannot play your claimed games until you subscribe again. All account can, however, buy games on Stadia like any other store to keep them.

Oh, well, let's see how they would answer to a direct question, then:

Thanks for the answer, I wasn't familiar with how PS Plus or Xbox Gold works neither :)
