Want to care for the bees? The upcoming casual sim APICO from TNgineers is opening up a Steam Playtest that starts on August 30 for anyone to give it a try.
"APICO is a laid-back beekeeping sim game about breeding, collecting, & conserving bees!
Leave your boring city job behind to return to your family home in Port APICO and get back to your beekeeping roots.
Set in a series of lush environments, APICO uniquely combines resource gathering, biology, and beekeeping minigames, taking ideas from a mix of real-life and fantasy apiculture & floriculture."

All you need to do is looking for the "Join the APICO Playtest" banner below the Demo on the Steam page, then click the button and eventually you will get a notification that you've been accepted.
The Playtest will run from August 30 to September 12, with the developer doing proper quality assurance with their publisher during that time so they can find and fix up any issues that come up. After September 12 the test will close so they can go through all the feedback properly.
I personally spent some time with earlier versions of APICO and found it to be a truly wonderful game. The idea is fantastic and it really is quite relaxing. Very keen to see how much they've added to it.
Head over to the APICO Steam Page if interested.
