Game store itch.io, well known for helping out indies and running Game Jams has today put up another Creator Day.
For 24 hours, until midnight Pacific Time (8AM Saturday UTC), itch will give 100% of the revenue to creators (minus taxes and normal fees). It's a really good way to support some smaller developers!
As usual, I have my curated big list of some of the best Linux native games available, which I've gone over again and added a few more so it's now listing well over 100 in total. Do let me know if you think something really deserves to be added to the list in the comments.
Here's a few fun suggestions:
- Dicey Dungeons - 67% off
- Midboss - 67% off
- Mixolumia - 50% off
- Nina Aquila: Legal Eagle - 50% off
- The Away Team - 50% off
- Tallowmere 2: Curse of the Kittens - 10% off
You can see all games on sale here.

Are there any good games where you also get a Steam key?

just putting in a word for Midboss, it's a fun roguelike with a great hook - you possess the bodies of enemies and absorb their powers Kirby-style. Classic roguelike style but not insanely difficult.

Good time to remind people that MewnBase, which is part of the sale, just had a major update adding a bunch of new stuff.

There's a paradox about this, to me. I like Itch, and I think the Itch people are really good people, doing exactly the kind of thing I want done. They're surely the only store that would do a thing like this, for instance.
But precisely because they're the kind of people who would so something like this, I don't really want to take advantage of it, because I want them to get some of the money. On the other hand, if some other store did this I'd be totally up for it, but those other stores never would.

Just if anybody is interested and not really related to the creator day -- here is my collection of browser games I discovered and found enjoyable. Most of them I have played more than once, and some of them more often I am ready to admit.
