Got the need for speed? The F-14A Tomcat has landed in War Thunder with the major Danger Zone update out now.

In addition to the F-14A they've also added in over a dozen new ground vehicles, with each nation in the game getting something new. There's also 6 helicopters for the Israeli tech tree and the first helicopter for the Chinese tech tree, 8 new vessels like the legendary HMS Hood, Napalm is now in the game with a plan of more types of incendiary bombs for aviation of different gaming nations, two brand new locations and the usual assortment of various technology improvements behind the scenes.

Absolutely loads more is new like the ability to reward replays, a new optional 3rd person view for helicopter battles and Camera Mouse Look Speed is actually consistent across all vehicle types.

It has a Native Linux version with Vulkan and it is Steam Deck Verified.

FYI it’s heavily crashing at start with 5.18.x kernels. Devs are looking into that, but no workaround ATM
