Not afraid of Spiders? Love a good 3D platformer? A Webbing Journey is due to release next year and it looks great, plus there's a demo available right now.

"Play as a cute little spider in a wholesome 3D puzzle platformer and go on a journey to explore a world consisting of unique and interesting islands to collect the most beautiful and exotic flowers to surprise your spider date. The game focuses on a cozy, relaxing and wholesome gaming experience around exploration, quests and puzzle solving. In contrast to other 3D puzzle platformer games, you are able to climb like a real spider, defying gravity as you explore the game world upside down."

And if you surprise your spider date effectively enough with beautiful flowers, maybe your spider date won't surprise you by eating you!

Seriously though, I think the webbing element could add a lot here, making it potentially quite a bit more interesting than the average game in this genre.

Wow, really sounds a lot like a 3D version of Webbed (not a bad thing). The ability to climb is a nice distinguishing touch, though.
