Move over Wordle, I'm all about Farmbound now

By -

Is the hype of Wordle over yet? Okay good. Need something new to try each day? Why not take a little look over at Farmbound.

The idea for this little browser game is simple but I love it. You combine seeds to make crops, combine crops to make fields and then harvest nearby crops and fields for points. Oh, you can also use water and fertilise them to grow too but you don't get a choice in what you get as it rotates what it gives you to place down on the board.

The idea is just to get the best score for the day, until you can try a different one the next day. It's a daily bit of match-3 browser-based fun.

You can also follow them on Twitter, where they seem to be giving out what the first lot of pieces you'll be getting each day are to help you plan — not that it helps me, I'm clearly too dumb for this as well. The pieces are the same for the whole day though, so you can just restart if you wish that keeps it nice and relaxed.

Eh, I prefer word games and stuff like Hexcells. Never been a big Match 3 person so I'll give this a miss and keep playing Wordle and Quordle instead.
