FWIW, Backbone was supposed to have a Linux native release (broken Kickstarter promise):

The original demo had a Linux version, and was well received. The final game was widely panned for deviating from the original gameplay, so it wasn't just the Linux backers who were upset with what got released.

Wasteland 3 was also a crowd-funded game, and they delivered on their promises, despite being swallowed up by Microsoft. Since I already have it, GreedFall is the main game of interest here for me, and I'm not sure if it's worth it? It looks like it has sold in the ballpark of $8 previously.

I've just started my second GreedFall playthrough on my Steam Deck (I bought it a few months ago). It's a pretty good game, if you like Bioware RPGs. Although the battle system is more action driven, and reminded me of The Witcher series.
It also runs very well with Proton. The only problem it has specifically on Steam Deck is that the text is a big too small, and its size can't be changed. But you can still use the Deck's magnifier tool.
