Recently the company Framework announced their plans to supply people in the USA and Canada with 2TB SSDs compatible with the Steam Deck but for people in the UK, Scan may be a good option.
Scan have listed a Sabrent Rocket 2230 1TB NVMe, which they plan to release on February 27th for £159.49 and you can pre-order it now. On their listing, they even mention Steam Deck as one of the compatible uses for the SSD, so it's good to see more stores begin to offer this tiny storage option.
Shopping around a bit, this does seem like a reasonable price as I've seen it going for quite a lot more across other stores. You could look to the likes of Ebay, AliExpress and more you never quite know what you're going to get (if they even turn up at all) so it's nice to see more legit sources with somewhat reasonable prices begin to show and over time we should see more of it, and see prices drop, just like we do with other types of SSDs.

it's always been a good one to get PC parts from. They don't have the variety of SCAN (or that other big UK computer shop
) but the service is good.

With that said, when they did have the parts, packaging has been done well (just like Scan) and it's arrived swiftly. No complaints about them when I am able to get what I need.
With regards to Nova, I had completely forgotten about them! I just did some "window shopping" there, the customizable rack mount servers are pretty neat, lots of HDD slots! Going to keep it in mind for when I eventually get around to building that "Super NAS" I keep saying I'm going to build.
I really.. really should not be looking at "computer shop" websites.. it's dangerous!

Now that one, I would never shop with. I stopped a number of years ago because I got tired of DOA drives

Over the years I've bought quite a lot of stuff from Scan and have never had any complaints.
One company I would buy from back in the early 2000s was Dabs. They used to have a small warehouse just outside Woking and not far from where I used to live. My mates and I would sometimes wander down there if we needed parts.
When BT took over Dabs, my local branch closed (as did many others) and the service declined.

I now know which store it is Liam doesn't like, it wasn't the one I thought it might be (eBuyer)!
