ScummVM, the all-in-one solution for many different retro games and upgraded game engines for classics has a new version 2.7.0 ready for testing. Each new release brings plenty of newly supported games with it currently supporting over 300 games including classics from the likes of LucasArts, Sierra On-Line, Revolution Software, Cyan, Inc., Westwood Studios and so on.
Some of the older classics that need testing in 2.7.0 include:
- Soldier Boyz.
- GLK Scott Adams Interactive Fiction games (C64 and ZX Spectrum).
- GLK Scott Adams adventures 1-12 (TI99/4A format).
- Obsidian.
- Pink Panther: Passport to Peril.
- Pink Panther: Hokus Pokus Pink.
- Driller/Space Station Oblivion.
- Halls of the Dead: Faery Tale Adventure II.
A lot more will come with the 2.7.0 release including: new shaders to emulate CRT displays, improved cursor scaling in OpenGL mode, an option for mono sound output, support for more platforms, many advancements to the actual SCUMM engine (the one that powers many classic adventures) and so on.
The testing list can be seen on their Wiki.
Very nice new feature! Like the good old days! Our old games are far more beautiful with crt shaders.
I compiled and tested recent scummvm git version and I found some bugs when I activate opengl gui rendering:
scummvm window use a resolution superior to my current screen resolution, I think about a dpi scaling issue, button and font are so little you can no more see them.
More than words:

Someone has the same issue?
