fixing up many bugs like the EA App and Ubisoft Connect
I like how these launchers are correctly categorised as bugs.

Fixing the Ubisoft launcher also made Trackmania (the one that released yesterday on Steam) playable

Woohoo, more language and Japanese games fixes! Always make me so happy to see them, seems like there's been a lot of work on that since Proton 7.0. Hopefully that keeps up for Proton 8.0 because Japanese games a toooon of weird quirks.

Anno 1800 is still refusing to work. At least on Proton Experimental Ubisoft Connect fails to "initialize". Going to offlinemode is also impossible. The game worked well but one of the updates to Ubisoft Connect broke it several weeks ago.

I'd guess that the launch of the Steam Deck in parts of Asia is playing into this, so I imagine it'll just keep on rolling, now.

It feels kind of anticlimactic now when Valve releases a new Proton. We've all had to use Experimental, Experimental Bleeding, Hotfix or third party compatibility tools like TKG and GE's, but yay... Proton 7.0-6 :-)

I knew it! it was a wrong day to to blow my moonshine kettle that was near the police station. I need something to drink instead of moonshine now. How you can celebrate newest proton release without it. Now I know. I must use more Wine to party with skeletons who are in my closet. It's party time!!!!! Anyway it's great to see proton to "grow up" so fast. Good job and keep it up!

Fix the new EA launcher displaying a blank window.
Seems like another weekend installation session of Sims 4 for my daughter is on the horizon.
